Tim Letzkus
Vice President, Aerospace and Defense
Tim Letzkus serves Scribe’s aerospace, defense and aviation clientele.
Mr. Letzkus has more than 30 years experience in all facets of brand strategy and communications, providing revenue generating advice and counsel to some of the most notable aerospace and defense companies around the globe – directly supporting more than $20 billion in product and program sales.
Prior to joining Scribe, Mr. Letzkus served as vice president and general manager of Sullivan Higdon & Sink’s Washington, DC area office, a division he started. Formerly, he served on TMP Worldwide’s senior management team and – prior to participating in a leveraged buyout – at Stackig Advertising & Public Relations, where he built the agency’s first aerospace and defense group.
Tim began his career in U.S. Army public affairs, where he won the Army’s coveted Journalist of the Year award. Mr. Letzkus started his civilian career at two Washington, D.C trade associations where he acted as spokesperson for a number of high profile national highway transportation programs and was editor of an industry newsletter for investor-owned electric utility CEOs.
Mr. Letzkus holds a bachelor’s degree from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland and is a member of the Aero Club of Washington, National Aeronautic Association, Navy League of the United States and Association of the United States Army.
