PRESS RELEASE

Washington, D.C., April 11, 2011 – Scribe Strategies & Advisors, Inc. (www.scribeus.com) today announced it is expanding its service offerings through the addition of two senior advisors. James Freeman and Timothy Letzkus join Scribe as vice president, government relations, and vice president, aerospace and defense, respectively.

“Jim and Tim provide a wealth of exceptional experience in their fields and offer our clientele new and expanded capabilities,” Joseph J. Szlavik, president and founder of Scribe, noted. “Jim expands our government relations capabilities while Tim adds insight into the commercial aviation markets and will bolster our strategic advisory services in support of corporate merger & acquisition activity,” he added.

Jim Freeman joins the firm with 25 years experience in Washington – conducting government relations through working on Capitol Hill and in the political arena. His government relations career featured work on a wide range of public policy issues, including financial services, real estate, and taxes, for which he led and planned strategic advocacy and outreach campaigns. In addition, Jim possesses extensive contacts in the U.S. House and Senate, among both Members and senior congressional staff, as well as with administration and key federal agency officials.

Tim Letzkus joins the firm after a stellar 25-year career leading advertising and public relations agencies, specifically focused in the global aviation, aerospace, and defense industries. Tim’s background includes corporate strategy, brand development and management, strategic communications advice and counsel, merger & acquisition and initial public offering communications support and crisis communications planning and implementation.

“Jim brings to Scribe and its clientele extensive knowledge of the Washington, D.C. political sphere, as well as varied experience at the state and local level,” Szlavik added, “while Tim brings another dimension to – and broadens – our strategy development and strategic communications offerings.”

In related news, longtime Scribe associate Richard Sincere, who has been affiliated with the firm since May 1993, takes on a new role as vice president for communications, while Scribe also moves its headquarters to a new location at 1215 Seventeenth Street, N.W., 5th Floor, Washington, DC 20036.
